As part of the task, the design documentation was developed for the following engineering sectors: railway signalling (SRK), telecommunications, power supply, and traffic management. Subsequently, construction works were carried out at six railway level crossings located on railway lines No. 143 and No. 751.
The level crossings were equipped with new SPA 5 type automatic level crossing signalling systems for Category B and C crossings. The installation encompassed, among others, outdoor equipment cabinets with full componentry, LED road traffic signals, barrier machines with barrier arms, wheel sensors (wheel detectors), level crossing transition indicators, reflective trackside signs, and Automatic Train Control (SHP) track devices. Complete cable networks and cable ducting systems along with cable chambers were also constructed.
The telecommunications and signalling works involved the deployment of new cable networks, including the laying of fibre-optic telecommunication cables. Selected level crossings were equipped with closed-circuit television systems (CCTV type TVUZ-1), complete with camera masts and accompanying infrastructure.
The electrical and power engineering works included the reconstruction of the level crossing illumination systems. This involved the installation of new lighting control cabinets, the erection of lighting poles equipped with energy-efficient LED luminaires, and the execution of power supply installations for the crossing illumination.
The project also involved updating the road traffic management layout, which included new vertical signage and horizontal road markings at the level crossings where the classification category was changed.
