HISTORY
It all began around 2002 with a partnership in the Polish market with the company Schweerbau. In 2004, Sbm was established as a typical project management company in the railway construction industry in Poland, carried out by Schweerbau. Our main business partner had over 70 years of experience in the industry in the European market, especially in Germany. As a family-owned company with a solid position and long traditions, they possessed a modern machine park and unique knowledge of advanced technologies in the industry.
What they needed in the Polish market were people familiar with the local market and its culture, willing to execute Schweerbau projects in Poland. As a result, Sbm comprises individuals who are currently leaders in the industry, possessing in-depth knowledge in all aspects of the railway sector. Many of the employees currently working on our large projects began their careers at Sbm during their studies. We take pride in the fact that they are still with us, professionally developing.
Collaborating with our partner, we successfully completed dozens of projects in Poland, ranging from several to several hundred million złoty in value. In 2018, a joint decision was made that Sbm, in addition to project management activities for Schweerbau, would independently undertake contract implementations.
Currently, our team consists of over 200 people, allowing us to handle several large projects simultaneously. Our thoughtful development strategy over the years has allowed us to confidently take on increasingly ambitious challenges. Our goal is to introduce modern and efficient technologies to the Polish market, ensuring that project implementations proceed smoothly, quickly, and without deviations from the objectives.
