On July 2, 2026, SBM signed a contract for the design and execution of works on railway line No. 309, on the section from km 14.250 to km 39.675 and at the Polanica-Zdr\u00f3j station, covering signalling and control (LST), telecommunications, and non-traction power supply.

This is another task on the very same line where we are already intensively executing track works. Therefore, we would like to share the current progress of the works conducted under the project: “Works on railway line No. 309 K\u0142odzko Nowe \u2013 Kudowa-Zdr\u00f3j \u2013 Track overhaul from km 14.250 to km 22.496 along with accompanying works.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\u2705 We have completed the dismantling of the mainline track along the entire section covered by the investment.
\u2705 At the Szczytna station, we achieved 100% removal of tracks No. 1, 2, and 3, as well as 3 turnouts.
\u2705 At the Duszniki-Zdr\u00f3j station, we completed the dismantling of track No. 5 and turnout No. 5.
\u2705 In total, we dismantled approximately 4 km of track panels.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
In parallel, advanced earthworks and subgrade works are underway:
\ud83d\udd39 Ballast excavation has been fully completed on the section km 14+250 \u2013 15+576 and on track No. 3 at the Szczytna station.
\ud83d\udd39 On the section km 16+232 \u2013 21+638, these works have already reached 93% progress, and on tracks No. 1 and 2 (Szczytna station) \u2013 50%.
\ud83d\udd39 Regarding drainage: we have completed 100% of open ditches and 20% of reinforced open ditches.
\ud83d\udd39 We are carrying out chemical soil stabilization and subgrade reinforcement.
\ud83d\udd39 Over 1,340 meters of subgrade boxing out (excavation) have already been completed.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
\ud83d\udd27 We have also commenced the next stage of works:
\u2022 Replacement of turnout No. 2 in Szczytna,
\u2022 Replacement of turnout No. 1 in Duszniki-Zdr\u00f3j,
\u2022 Track superstructure works on station tracks in Duszniki-Zdr\u00f3j and Kulin K\u0142odzki.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
We are delighted to expand our commitment on line No. 309, both in track works and within the newly acquired areas of LST, telecommunications, and power engineering. This is another step toward restoring full functionality and raising the standard of rail infrastructure in the K\u0142odzko Valley region.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
