As a teenager, she thought she would become a food technician, but fate led her to the Economic Academy, where 17 years ago she came across a job offer at SBM.
We present Magda Molińska-Gołaś, who is currently our Chief Accountant. She has worked her way up through all levels of her career within our company: from Junior Accounting Specialist to Accountant.
Working with both the Accounting and HR departments, Magda Molińska-Gołaś has learned a great deal and has continued to develop her knowledge. As she herself says, regulations are constantly changing, and she must stay up-to-date by reading specialized literature and participating in numerous courses and training sessions.
Although working with invoices and contracts may seem tedious from the outside, it is actually very dynamic. It involves constant interaction with people to clarify details, resolve discrepancies, and track down errors. Magda is not only an experienced accountant but also a representative chosen by her colleagues, as the saying goes, “where the devil cannot go, there Magda will be sent.” She combines the necessary empathy with rational assertiveness, as the role requires a deep understanding of both internal employee issues and personal matters. Her extensive experience is also significant, as it has allowed her to learn the intricacies of the job from the ground up, helping her find solutions to various needs.
It is a responsibility both mental and formal, as her signature appears on many documents concerning all employees. However, she is a dynamic person, open to conversation, and ready to act, which enables her to perform her duties extremely efficiently.
She values SBM for being a safe workplace with a family-like atmosphere, where employees can spend time together pleasantly and where discrimination of any kind is foreign. She also appreciates having had the opportunity for stable growth, first as a fresh graduate and later as the mother of two children.
She has the following wishes for the company: “On behalf of myself and the employees, I extend heartfelt congratulations on the 20th anniversary of the company. Thank you for allowing us to build it together and witness its successes. May the Board continue to steer the locomotive with its carriages full of people in the coming years.”
