By introducing innovations, we do not limit them solely to ways of increasing our efficiency but also seek those that allow us to better protect the environment. We constantly update our goals because we know that maintaining actions is not enough!

Since the department’s inception in 2018, we have introduced many improvements in the area of ecology:

1. Using the electronic waste database (BDO), we monitor all waste generated in the company. This is accompanied by the creation and implementation of waste management instructions on construction sites and environmental protection programs for employees. The database allows for quick and easy searching of entities dealing with waste management, ensuring that the waste is handled by authorized and specialized companies.
2. Every new employee undergoes environmental protection training. We also continually work on raising environmental awareness within the company, and ecological issues are part of every audit. Knowledge of the principles used for environmental protection reduces the negative impact of the work performed on the environment.
3. We also improve the conditions on construction sites themselves – each site is equipped with absorbents for spill collection, information boards on environmental protection during work, and appropriate protections, such as herpetological fences and continuous supervision by an environmental protection specialist. These actions allow us to constantly monitor the state of the environment and respond promptly.
4. We know that we cannot prevent everything, so we compensate for environmental impact by planting trees or building shelters with nesting boxes for birds. Although this results in extended work times or stoppages, we operate in accordance with nature protection laws.
5. We monitor employees’ driving styles using the Ecologic system to improve fuel efficiency and reduce emissions. Drivers are motivated to improve their driving style by seeing reports and results in the applications.
