We are delighted to announce that the modernized railway line no. 285, connecting Wrocław with Sobótka, is now fully operational.

Thanks to the modernization work completed two years ago on the Wrocław-Świdnica route, travelers can now enjoy comfortable and safe transport while exploring the picturesque landscapes of Lower Silesia.

Despite the relatively recent modernization, we are responding to observed needs and contributing to further safety enhancements. This week, we completed an important phase of the modernization, which involved upgrading the crossing at km 8.547 of line 285 from category C to B. This modification, affecting the railway-road crossing on the Wrocław Główny – Bielany Wrocławskie route at Ołtaszyńska Street in Wrocław, was implemented in response to increasing traffic at the crossing.

With this modification, we have increased the level of security by installing modern automatic gates that lower before an approaching train. These efforts are part of our ongoing commitment to improving safety not only for travelers but also for all users of railway crossings.

The work carried out by SBM Sp. z o.o. sp. k. in consortium with SBM Sp. z o.o. significantly raises the standard of travel, streamlines traffic flow, and ensures the reliability of transport.
